Show 31tfljers' Club Holds President's Party Thursday Mothers' Study club held their annual President's party at the home of Oral Wright, Thursday, June 19. The order of business was releasing of the officers who have served from June ,1946 to June, 1947 and the sustaining of the newly . elected officers who are to serve the coming year. The rooms were beautifully decorated dec-orated with June roses. A delicious dinner was served at card tables which were decorated with a centerpiece cen-terpiece of roses and favors representing repre-senting the pioneer theme, under the direction of a committe consisting con-sisting of Oral Wright, Estelle Fenton, Reva Ahman, who are the new executive officers. The following is the program that was rendered. Song by the Club; A musical toast tovthe outgoing out-going president and secretary-treasurer; secretary-treasurer; a musical reading to the vice-president. The entertainment for the afternoon after-noon was Monte Carlo Whist. First prize was won by Manetta Gamett. Consolation prize was won by Lydia Hilton. Programs for the coming year were passsed out to the members present, who were: Eva Adams, Edith Anderson Lela Banks, Elna Clark, Ethel Fenton, Fen-ton, Manetta Gamett, Arvilla Harvey, Har-vey, Lydia Hilton, Mabel Jense, Nora Macfarlane, Edna Newman, Margaret Olpin, Emma Overlade, Deane Paulson, Rose Radmall, Maud Richards, Fern Smith, Geneve Gen-eve ' Warnick, Ida West, Lacy White and the hostesses. |
