Show ! GOURLEY WILLIAMS MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED The marriage of Edna C. Gourley of Salt Lake City to William L. Williams of Rock Springs took place last Saturday at high noon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Holland of 539 Gobel street. The bride is the daughter of Mayor and Mrs. M.'S. Christiansen of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Jennie Williams of Denver. Elder Edwin James of the L. D. S. church read the impressive marriage ceremony in the living I room of the Holland home whirh was decorated with baskets o .pink and white snapdragons. Relatives and close friends were guests at the wedding. . ... .. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street length costume cos-tume of dusty blue with white accessories and an orchid corsage. Her sister, Mrs.-Sherman Varney of Pleasant Grove, was matron of honor. She was dressed in an, ensemble en-semble of Burgundy red with matching accessories and wore a corsage fashioned of gardenias and sweetpeas. Arthur M. Hafey served the bridegroom bride-groom as best man. Immediately after the ceremony the bridal party was honored at a dinner at Howard's Cafe. The table was decoated witH garlands of pink and white sweetpeas and tapers burned in crystal holders. ' Centering the table was a tiered wedding cake, ornamented with pink and white roses and topped with a miniature bride and groom, which was cut by Mrs. Elliot O. Strand, sister in law of the bridegroom. bride-groom. Mr. and Mrs. Williams were honored at a reception from 3 to6 o.clock Saturday afternoon at Slov-enski Slov-enski Dom. Approximately 70 guests attended. Mrs. Williams was graduated from the Pleasant Grove high school and from the L. D. S. business bus-iness college an Salt Lake city. For the past three and one-half years she has been, emtoloyed in the offices of the Mountain Fuel Supply Company in Salt Lake City. After a wedding trip to San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Los Angeles and other points on the west .coast, Mr. and Mrs Williams will return to Rock Springs and will make their home there.
