Show Funeral Services Held For William K. Aston Funeral services were conducted Saturday for William. K. Aston, 51, who died Wednesday evening at his home here, following a long illness. The services were held in ithe Third Wnrd Chapel at two o'clock with Bishop's Councilor Daryl Huish in charge. Mrs. J. E. Hardman and Mrs. Leland Beers sang a duet, In the Garden, accompanied by Mrs. Wjl-ford Wjl-ford Neves. Invocation was offered by George L. Paul. Speakers, who expressed appreciation apprec-iation of the departed and spoke words of faith and encouragement to his family, were Stanley B. Harris, former Bishop of Lindon, Joseph S. Walker and Neils Fural with closing remarks by Daryl Huish. Music, beside the opening duet, was a violin solo, One Fleeting Hour, by Mrs. Calvin Jacob, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Neves, vocal solo, Jesus is Calling Today, by Reva W. Ahmpn, acompanied by Avis F. West, and the closing number, Sometime We'll Uuderstand, by Mrs. Hardman and Mrs. Beers. Prelude Pre-lude and postlude music was furnished fur-nished by Mrs. Neves. Benediction was pronounced by Ben WWker. Interment, directed by Olpin Mortuary, took place in the Pleas-and Pleas-and Groyremetei-y.. whev? Bishop Neil Fugal offered 'the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers included were Ward Carlson. Reed Carlson, Roy Carlson, Bert Carlson, Nello Neilson, and Sherman. Jacobs. Flowers were cared and arranged for by the Third ward Relief Society. . Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie C. Aston, one daughter, Helen Bunnell, Pleasant Grove, his moth, er, Mrs. Emily K. Aston, Lindon two brothers, Alfred Aston, Magna,' Zelmar Aston, Lindon, two sisters,' Mrs. J. J. Madeson, Vineyard, Mrs! Frank Williame, Orem, and four grandchildren. |
