Show Fat Salvage Contest Arranged For Utah ' Every Salvae.c Committee or group collecting Household fats 1 lor the war effort arc urged to I particiiate in the War Produc-Liiio Produc-Liiio Board's Contest to bring in new ideas for Fat Salvage. Awards will go to ?DU word essays es-says on the most practical workable ideas that have actually actual-ly been tried out and found to be effective devices to raise the total of fats collections. Ideas that are good and workable work-able in your community will be passed along for the benefit of fat salvage committees all over the country. Write up any unique uni-que method you have used for the collection of household fats and mail today. RCLES FOR THE CONTEST: 1. Time April 1st to April 30th, M44. 2. Judges Judges will be members of the American Fat Salvage Committee, Inc., 247 Park Avenue, New York City, and will consist of. Roy W. Paet, Chairman, Crafton B. Perkins, Vice Chairman, and William G. Werner. All decisions of this Committee of Judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding awards by the Committee or the War Production Board. 3. Entries Must be in by Midnight, April 30th, 1944. 4. Prizes 1st Prize $100 War Bond. 2nd Prizes $50 War Bond. 3rd Prize $25 War Bond. Equivalent current value of these bonds or War Saving Stamps will be paid to the winners win-ners if so requested. 5. Essay limited to 200 words. Contestants are advised in submitting sub-mitting their data to explain fully their working plan, size and j form of groups of committee, results re-sults obtained, etc. Plans which do not conform to nationally ac- I cepted collection practice which routes used household fats from housewives to meat dealers to rendered or other collection agency will not be considered j for awards. 6..
