Show Aeronautics Commission Offers Free Flying Course For Hundreds Of Utah Men The Utah Aeronautics Commission wants several hundred hun-dred Utah youths to take a complete course in aviation free, according to an announcement made today by Director Joseph , Bergin. The course includes a complete ground training course and then an advanced flying course including 35 to 40. hours in the air. The course wouldt cost a minimum of $400 if the students stu-dents were required to pay for the training. Ogden is ready to start a pilots school and needs 20 applicants im-I im-I mediately. Other schools will bo established in the state as fast aa students are available. Applicants must be between the ages of 19 and 26 and, if not attending attend-ing college now, to have had at least 2 years of college work. If applicants ap-plicants are now in college only one year of completed college work will be required. All students wishing this training are requested to register with the Utah Aeronautics Commission, State Capitol Building, Salt Lake City, as soon as possible. According to W. D, Hammond, Chairman of the Aeronautics Commission, Com-mission, this is the greatest opportunity oppor-tunity that has ever been offered to Utah students who are interested in. aviation.
