Show Among the out of town guests who attended the memorial service for Jack Wallace Hall on Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs-- Omer Peterson of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hall, Mr. Clark Hall and Mr. Lynn Reed of Midvale, Asa Draper of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. Bentley of Price, Mr. and Mrs. E. Ainge of Salt Lake City, and Mr. Charles Howard of the U. S. Navy. J Mrs. Mary Yancey was the recipient recipi-ent of a very pleasant surprise on Tuesday, when a jolly group of neighbors, bringing fun and laughter laugh-ter and good things to eat, entered her home, and made merry. The afternoon aft-ernoon was spent in neighborly chat, and luncheon served to 10 j ladies, including Mrs. Ola Hanson, Mrs. Victor Barney, Mrs. Alfred Dexter, Mrs. Frank Nelson, Mrs. John Muzzell, Mrs. Melbourne Wallace, Wal-lace, Mrs. Howard Mathews, Mrs. LeRoy Thorne, Mrs. Beth Fenton, Mrs. Martin Peterson, Mrs. Darrel Yancey and the honor guest. Mrs. Alta Noble was hostess to the Modernette club at her home in Orem on Wednesday of last week. Luncheon was served at small tables, after which the afternoon was spent playing hearts. Mrs. Lola Melberg won first prize, while Mrs. Alice Clapp carried off the guest prize. Club members present included in-cluded Mrs. Beth Fenton, Mrs. Virginia Vir-ginia Chipman, Mrs. Celestia Beal, Mrs. Violet Beers, Mrs. June Cho-meak, Cho-meak, Mrs. Dora Hales, Mrs. La Priel Oscarson, Mrs. Naomi Walker, Mrs. Ruth Cobbley, Mrs. Phyllis Keetch and Mrs. Beulah Lowder. Mrs. Alice Clapp, Mrs. Lola Tomlin-son Tomlin-son and Mrs. Dora Hanson were special guests. |
