Show Services Caravan Are To Present A Program Thursday At Five P.M. , As a part of a statewide tour of Utah, the Women's War Services Caravan will be' in Pleasant Grove on Thursday, May 25th, at 5 P. M. to five .a program, which Will be short and snappy, and will feature the Fort Douglas band., -' ': To promote enlistments in the Women's forces in order to delay as long as possible the induction of additional, fathers, and heads of families in Utah.'to keep essential agricultural workers on the"1 farms and essential industrial workers in their pi a ntsT women- a re1 eond w tin g a drive for enlistments into the WACS, WAVES, SPARS & MARINES. MAR-INES. Every armed service is cooperating 'in the campaign.. For every woman enlisted a man will be released for service. A full hours show will be presented pre-sented in each city, with a number nf nationally known stage and radio rad-io stars on the program. . Dinner will - be served to the members of the earanven, with-the chamber of commence and tie City Council cooperating in' handling the affair. - . x |
