Show Funeral Riles Meld For Warnick Ciaild Very touching and impressive funeral rites were conducted Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon in Manila ward chapel for John Stephens Warnick, 4 month old son of Stephen L and Nelda Stephens Warnick, who died Sunday morning after a short illness. ill-ness. The services, with Bishop Warnick Warn-ick Swenson in charge, opened at two o'clock with prayer by Alex Wadley. Effie W. Adams played an organ solo. Speakers who spoke words of sympathy, encouragement and hope to the bereaved young parents par-ents were L. M. Atwood, A. P. Warnick and President Merrill N. Warnick, all uncles of little John Stephens. George and Ivan Monson sang a duet, My Father Knows. They were accompanied by Gwen Adams After closing remarks of sympathy and appreciation by Bishop Swenson, Swen-son, Warren Kirk accompanied by Mrs. Kirk sang the closing number, num-ber, I Think When I Hear That Sweet Story of Old. Benediction was pronounced by R. D. Wadley. Prelude and post-lude post-lude organ music was played by Mrs. Gwen Adams. Internment was made in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Cemetery where John Stephens, the baby's grandfather grand-father offered the dedicatory prayer. pray-er. Pallbearers were Charles Warnick, War-nick, Robert Monson, Eldredge Warnick and Paul Adams. John Stephens was born on Oct. 15 at American Fork and is survived sur-vived by his parents and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Jeanette Warnick War-nick of Manila and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John W. Stephens of El Paso, Texas. |
