Show Tbomas Gleason Honored On IVMli Hirlliday An interesting birthday entertainment enter-tainment of last week was a party given for Thomas H. Gleason on his 80th birthday anniversary, Saturday, Sat-urday, February 8 by Mrs. Amanda Aman-da Gleason and daughters and ; daughters in law. Many friends and relatives were there to wish him health and happiness. hap-piness. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Marion Broomhead, Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Gleason, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Huber, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mozley Sr., Mr. and Mrs. I Frank Mozley Jr., Miss Ruth Mozley, Moz-ley, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kratz and son Jimmie, Mr. Laurence Mozley and Miss Henderson, Mr. George Peay, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wood-worth Wood-worth and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Peay, all of Salt Lake City. Mr. Nephi Howe, Mr. and Mrs. Ethan Peay, and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Haag of American Pork. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Peay and children, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Jacobs Jac-obs and children, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Holly Maxfield of Pleasant Grove and his own family. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Bennett and children, Mrs. and Mrs. Anton Gleason and children, Miss Jennie Gleason and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Gardner and children. The little son of Ruth Peay Woodworth recited a beautiful birthday poem to Mr. Gleason and little Carol Gleason rendered a piano selection. Mr. Peay and sons and Anton Gleason sang a requested request-ed song, Where is My Wandering Boy Tonight. A piano solo by Mrs. Helen Gleason Huber completed the program. A beautiful birthday cake with 80 candles presented by Mrs. Peay was brought in with candles burning burn-ing while the children sang Happy Birthday and all shook hands with Mr. Gleason. A delicious lunch was served and a very enjoyable visit was had by all present. |
