The towering mountains of the Wasatch range with their mighty challenge to "Carry On" complete the setting. The Sunset Rally had its begin- ning in the appreciation of the un- usual beauty of Utah valley as seen : from the Manila heights, especially j in the evening when the setting sun j casts a filmy mist over the world. 1 A. P. Warnick suggested the openj air service as an ideal way of ex-; pressing appreciation to God for the beautiful mountain homes found in j this district. Musical numbers will be furnished as follows: String trio from Provo; violin solos, Miss Anderson of the Pleasant Grove high school faculty; vocal solos, Mr. 'Terry of the music department of the Lincoln high school. Loud speakers will be installed so the program will be easily heard from all parts of the grounds. Those responsible for the program pro-gram are A. P. Warnick, Effie Adams and Vilace Radmall. |
