Kirkham and daughter of Hollywood, are visiting at the home or her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hindley, Sr. ' Glen Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. FeiTon Sagers motored to Salt Lake City Monday night to -attend a convention con-vention of the Philco Radio dealers held at the Hotel Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Dunkley and daughter, Margaret, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dunkley and Mrs. Lillian Lil-lian K. Brown attended the Lemon family reunion at Lagoon, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Faddis of Bingham, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Faddis and family of Lark, were Sunday visitors at the home of then-mother, then-mother, Mrs. Bert Faddis. The Misses Irene Jones, Madeline Robinson and Jeanne Nicholes attended at-tended the program given at Camp Williams Monday evening. They report re-port having enjoyed it very much. J. E. Chadwick and Wayne Chad-wick Chad-wick left yesterday for Idaho Falls where they will spend the next ten days visiting with friends and relatives rela-tives and looking over that territory in the interests of the Chadwick Insurance service. Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Taylor were, Mrs. Frank R. Taylor and sister, Mrs. Barbara Zabriskie of Raymond, Alberta, Al-berta, Canada. With two other ladies they had motored down to Salt Lake to attend the Primary and M. I. A. conference. Miss Vivian Lee and Miss Venna Kirkham has as week-end- visitors Mr Ralph Bishop and - Mr. Bla;ne Thompson, both of Garland. Eli K. Clayson left Monday for Logan and from there- for Idaho where he will spend the ..summer months doing field work for the Logan Lo-gan Knitting Mills. Among those from out of town who attended the funeral services for Martin Ambrose Sunday were, the family of John Adams, Forrest Adams, Doris Adams and Marie Shaw all of Bingham; Mr.. and Mrs. Charles Binks, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Binks and May Binks of Springville, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Oskins of Lark. The Junior Literary club members mem-bers and a guest for each member met Monday afternoon at the State Training School for a clinic demonstration demon-stration given by Dr. Ramsay. Mrs. J. W. Anderson and family motored to Spanish Fork Monday ! with Mr. Anderson where he return- j ed to his work after spending the j week-end here with the family. i Miss Virginia Shelley left Wednesday Wednes-day for Salt Lake City to spend the week-end with Miss Nan Chipman who is visiting there with her mother moth-er Mrs. Ray Rosebraugh. The H. B. Club ladies met at the home of Mrs. June Peterson of Lehi, yesterday, to participate in a pot luck party. All enjoyed an afternoon after-noon of fun. Mr. Claude Strong of Alpine was pleasantly surprised Wednesday evening eve-ning when some twenty couples arrived ar-rived at his home for a weenie roast. A very enjoyable time was had by all. The genealogical union meeting will be held Monday night in the basement of the tabernacle at 8 o'clock. It is very important that all ward secretaries be in attendance to obtain information on the quarterly quart-erly report. Word will be given at this meeting as to whether classes will be held during the summer months: Mr. Clayson would like all members to be present. In honor of Mrs. Harold V. Ramsay, Ram-say, a bride of the month Mrs. Fay Clarke entertained at her home last week. She was assisted in serving the tasty lunch by Miss Edith Clarke. The guests included the Mesdames H. V. Ramsay, H. H. Ramsay, James H. Clarke, Lillian C. Booth, Louise Storrs, Fay Briggs and Thelma Lynch and the Misses Christine Ramsay, Alice Parker, Beth Hutch-ings Hutch-ings and Rowena Miller. The honor guest received many beautiful gifts. Word has been received from John Brown that he is established at Heil-boorn, Heil-boorn, Germany, and is enjoying his work and the association with the German people. Mark is in the business manager of the Charm Cosmetics company located in Los Angeles and Robert is attending school at Passa-dena. Passa-dena. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Sabey and family left Sunday for their home in McGill, Nevada, after a three weeks' visit at the home of Mrs Sabey's parents, Mi-, and Mrs. Moral D. Steele. William H. Tracy of Tooele, Mrs David S. Tracy of Yost, Utah, and Mrs. David E. Tracy of Malta, Idaho visited Sunday at the home of A E Tracy hi the interest of genealogical work. Mr. Tracy has connections with a national organization aaid has been instrumental in aiding many in their research work. Dunkley attended the annual convention of the Service Star that was held in Salt Lake last Thursday. The meetings were held in the Memorial Mem-orial House in Memory Grove. Mrs. Rebecca Booth of Alpine will be the guest teacher in the women's 1 department of Sunday School in the Fourth ward, Sunday. She will talk on her experiences in the mission field in Palestine and the Holy Land. In commemoration of Flag day the Boy Scouts will conduct flag raising exercises and two short talks will be given on the subject of the flag. The next temple excursion will be held Monday, June 24th, the same rates to be had on the Orem line. The committee in charge state that there are still eight names on the missionary list that they are desirous desir-ous of clearing at the coming excursion. excur-sion. The Sunday School stake board and their partners enjoyed an outing out-ing in American Fork canyon Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon and evening. The party camped at the Swinging bridge and from there went on short hikes and enjoyed a campfire, weenie roast and program. The guest of honor was Miss Rowena Miller, a bride of this month. S. T. Baker returned Monday from a trip to the Ford plant at Detroit, Michigan, where he accompanied, his son, Frank, and wife who purchased a new Ford V-8. He said the assembling as-sembling cf their car commenced at 2:30 and at 5:30 they drove off in it. Mr. Baker reports the weather as being somewhat cooler than here.
