Show o Child Escapes Injury In Car Accident Mrs. Thomas Colledge and daughter, daugh-ter, Evyon, of Lehi, received minor cuts and bruises when the car in which they were riding overturned in a collision with a car driven by Burnell Watkins of Alpine. The accident ac-cident occurred at the intersection of Third North and First West streets in American Fork, about 8:30 Tuesday Tues-day morning. Mrs. Colledge was traveling north and the Watkins car, going west, struck the right side toward the back, causing the Colledge car to skid and turn on its left side into the irrigation irriga-tion ditch. As the automobile overturned, Mrs. Colledge caught and held her two year old child close to her. Ths act probably saved the child from serious ser-ious injury. Mrs. Colledge suffered scalp lacerations. Dr. Noyes administered admin-istered first aid. The Colledge car was quite badly twisted, all the windows broken and dents and scratches on the body. The Watkins car received a twisted radiator radia-tor and bent fenders. |
