Show Highland News The Old Folks party' held here Friday, February 17, was a. success in every way. The honored guests assembled at 11:30 and enjoyed a half hour of social chat, after which a delicious dinner was served. During Dur-ing the afternoon the old folks enjoyed en-joyed a spicy program and dancing. Due to the inclement weather Sunday, the regular Sunday meet-lings meet-lings were postponed. Practically all side roads were impassable until Tuesday. Miss Mary L. Myers was called to Salt Lake City Tuesday due to the fatal accident which claimed the life of her brother, William Wilson of that city. The Missionary committee are planning a farewell party March 3 for LeGrande Adamson, who has been called to labor in the Western States mission. A splendid program is being arranged to be presented at 7:30 p. m.; the remainder of the evening will be spent in dancing. A popular orchestra has been engaged, and a splendid time is anticipated. All members of the ward are urged to be present. Visitors from neighboring neigh-boring wards are also welcome. The M Men and Gleaner Girls tendered a farewell party for LeGrande Le-Grande Adamson Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Henrietta Larson. Lar-son. Games furnished the evening's entertainment. Later in the evening, even-ing, refreshments were served. Many useful remembrances were received by Mr. Adamson. Mrs. Emily Miller and daughter Myra spent a few days in Lehi, guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Gordon and family. o |
