Show Dairymen Set Stock Sale At Ogden Show, Sat. A dairy sale in connection with the Ogden Livestock show will be conducted Saturday, February n, under the sponsorship of the Utah State Holstein Breeders' association, Merrill N. Warnick, a member of the s e 1 e c tion committee, announced Wednesday. All the dairy animals which will be sold, will be on exhibition Friday i and Saturday. The sale will take place Saturday at 1 p. m. The sale, Mr. Warnick pointed out, offers dairymen, 4-H or FFA project workers, or others interested in good dairy stock, to acquire some of the finest Holstein stock in the state, as each animal has been selected for outstanding type and quality. Select animals from some of the best herds of the state will be sold. The committee on selection, . a committee named from the Holstein 1 Breeders' association, has made the selections with the view to offering only the finest stock. From Utah county will come the following: Robert Webb of Lehi is consigning a promising heifer and a bull for light service ; Merrill N. Warnick has consigned a yearling bull and a heifer calf; the Utah State Training School, a pair of nice straight females, fe-males, one yearling and one two-year-old. i All animals have been tested for Bang's disease and tuberculosis. |
