Show Local Items Mr. and Mrs. Edward D. McCleery of Jerome, Idaho, are visiting here at the home of Mr. McCleery's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. McCleery. Bishop and Mrs. T. A. Greenwood left last week for Chicago where they will visit for a short time with their son, Delbert, and his wife. They will also visit in South Dakota with relatives and friends. Mrs. L. B. Adamson entertained the Fourth ward M. I. A. officers, teachers, and bishopric last Thursday Thurs-day evening at her home.. The forepart fore-part of the evening was' spent in outlining plans for the winter's work after which an enjoyable time was had in playing games and other social so-cial pastimes, followed by a dainty and delicious lunch. Mrs. Glen Robinson entertained the members of the Young Bridge Club at a luncheon and bridge Friday Fri-day afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. Roy Greenwood. The house and small tables were decorated deco-rated with fall flowers. Special guests included: Mrs. Brown Inger-soll, Inger-soll, Mrs. James Moffett, Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Adams,, Mrs. La Veil Singleton and Miss Beth Hutchings. The club prize was won by Mrs. Leon Par-duhn Par-duhn and guest prize by Mrs. Brown Ingersoll. Mrs. George Nichlos was called to her home in Canada because of the illness of her father. Roy Earl of Nelr-n, Nevada, Is here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Earl and friends. Mrs. LaVell Singleton and daughter, daugh-ter, Patricia Ann, visited here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Moffett. Mof-fett. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chadwick and daughter moved to Lovell, Wyoming, where they will make their home indefinitely. in-definitely. Mr. Chadwick will be employed there. Sunday and Monday guests of Mrs. Hans Christensen were her mother, Mrs. Joseph Eddington and sister, Miss Mae Eddington, of Salt Lake City. Dick Cave was here visiting his mother, Mrs. William Householder, over the week-end. Mr. Cave will leave shortly for Pocatello, Idaho, where he will attend the university there. Mr. and Mrs. E. P. McGrew formerly form-erly of this city, announce the engagement en-gagement of their daughter, Gwen, to LeGrand G. Sharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Sharp. The marriage mar-riage will take place in the near future fu-ture in the Salt Lake L. D. S. temple. |
