WII.ERKAS, then: Is immediate and pressing need of raising funds in the sum of $14, (Mill .1)0, of which $11,000. 00 is to be used for the purpose pur-pose of constructing a City Hall, a City Jail, and in improving and repairing re-pairing the City Fhe Station and Public Library of said City to be owned and controlled by Pleasant Grove City, and of which $:),000.()0 is to be used for the purpose of having hav-ing a survey made and an official plat prepared by a competent surveyor sur-veyor and engineer of all the lots, blocks, streets, alleys and real property prop-erty located within the corpora te limits of Pleasant Grove City. NOW, THEREFORE, notice is hereby given that on Tuesday the 20th day of October, 1937, a special election will be held within the corporate limits of said City of Pleasant Grove, Utah County, Utah, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said City as shall have paid a property tax therein in the year preceding such election the following propositions: 1. "Shall negotiable coupon bonds of the City of Pleasant Grove, Utah County, State of Utah, in the sum of $11,000.00 payable in not exceeding exceed-ing twenty years from date of issue bearing interest at the rate of not exceeding six per cent per annum payable semi-annually be issued on the credit of the city and sold for the purpose of raising funds to be used in building and constructing a city Hall, a City Jail, and in improving improv-ing and repairing the City Fire Station and Public Library of said City to be owned and controlled by ' the City of Pleasant Grove." At said election the form of ballot bal-lot shall be substantially as follows, to-wit: PLEASANT GROVE CITY, UTAH SPECIAL BOND ELECTION Tuesday, October 2Gth. 1937 BOND ELECTION BALLOT 1. For the issuance of bonds YES n no n If a voter desires to vote for the issuance of bonds he shall place a cross (X) in the space opposite the word "YES," if he desires to vote against the issuance of bonds he shall place a cross (X) in the space opposite the word "NO." That on the reverse side of said ballot shall be the following: OFFICIAL BALLOT FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANT GROVE SPECIAL BOND ELECTION Tuesday, October 26th, 1937 (Facsimile Signature) S. The polling places for all qualified electors of said City of Pleasant Grove shall be at the following places in Pleasant Grove, Utah County, Utah. Polling District No. 2 at Third Ward Chapel. Polling District No. 3 at Pleasant Grove City Hall. The Judges of Election are: For polling District No. 2 J. E. Hardman, Able Nielson, Ethel Carlson. Carl-son. For polling District No. 3 J. H.
