The ward groups are rehearsing to add the final polish to their productions, in order to stags a 1 nst-class show next week. The Road Shows have been presented pre-sented annually in Alpine stake for the past several years and are gain-mi: gain-mi: popularity as additional novel themes and fine presentations are offered for the entertainment of the public each year. This activity is viid to do more than any other one sponsored by the M. I. A. to discover and develop talent. The shows this year will be as First ward "The Secrets of a Mother's Heart". Second ward "Dream Land". Third ward "Where Love Is, There God Is Also". The cast includes in-cludes Arthur Gordon, Mrs. Selma .Miller, Mrs. Mary E. Abel, Dee Hunter, Hun-ter, Melvin Brown and Myron Moyle. Fourth ward "Our Mountain Home" Highland ward "Be Your Brother's Broth-er's Keeper". The cast includes Dean White, Don White, Cora Beik, Lawrence .Day, Imogene Neff, L-Grande L-Grande Adamson and Mac Groes-beck. Groes-beck. Competent judges from out of town are being secured to judgj the various acts. The acts will be presented in clock-wise fashion, the various groups traveling in rotation to the wards until each ward has seen the entire six-act sh w. In each ward the members of the cast and the directors have worked to prepare finished productions to present to the stake. An invitation is extended by M. I. A. officers to tlie general public to attend the Road Shows Monday and Tuesday nights. The acts will be presented in a rotation by which each group will conclude the performance in its own ward. Monday night's schedule follows" fol-lows" At Alpine First, Second, Highland, Third, Fourth and Alpine. AtHighland Third, Fourth, Alpine, First Second, Highland. For the four American Fork wards, the schedules for Tuesday follow: At First ward Fourth, Alpine, Second, Third, Highland and First At Second ward-First, Highland, Alpine, Fourth, Third and Second At Third ward-Second, First, Highland, Alpine, Fourth and Third. At Fourth ward-Third, Second, First Highland, Alpine and Fourth. The acts will be judged on a basis allowing 20 possible points for selection selec-tion of theme, 35 points for development develop-ment of theme, 30 points foi : general effectiveness, and 15 pom ts lor Mig-inality Mig-inality Each act will be limited to 0 o 12 minutes and there will be a new snow every 25 minutes, beginning begin-ning at 7:30 p. m. |
