Adams were Mr. ind Mrs. J. G. McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Wherry, Mr. and Mrs. George Foutz and daughters, Florence and Lara, all of Salt Lake. Dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. Ruel Adams and' family. Mrs. Emma Jenson was pleasantly, surprised last Friday evening when a group of relatives and Sunshine workers dropped in for an evening's enjoyment at her home. Picnic refreshments re-freshments we're served and a very enjoyable evening reported. Miss Effie Boren spent the past week with relatives at Charleston. Mr. Dee Pingree of Salt Lake City was a guest of Mr. and Mrs W L Hayes Friday. ' ' Mrs. William Littlejohn and James Littlejohn of Price, were Pleasant Grove visitors Monday. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Clark and twin girls enjoyed a business visit at Salt Lake City Saturday. Miss Ruth Fage, a nurse at the L. D. S. hospital, spent the week-end with her mother, Mary B. Fage. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Banks 'were dinner guests Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lewis of Provo. j Mr. Vivian Butler, Mr. and Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Angus Mellor of Payson, were guests of Mrs. Ethel Drysdale Monday. Miss Ruth Lewis, a nurse at the L.D.S. hospital, visiting from Thursday Thurs-day till Saturday with her sister, Mrs. Mary J. Cooper. Little Miss Mary Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Greene has been ill the past week, suffering with an abcess in her head. The M. I. A. of the Lindon ward enjoyed a Bam Dance in the Lindon Hall last Tuesday evening under direction of the M Men. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Mansfield of Samaria, Idaho, have been visiting the past week with Mrs. Mansfield's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Warbur-ton. Warbur-ton. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Clark are rejoicing over the arrival of a winsome win-some baby girl, born Wednesday evening. Mother and babe are doing do-ing nicely. I Ed Rogers of Cincinnati, Ohio, was in Pleasant Grove Monday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Warbur- j ton and incidently enjoyed hunting! pheasants. He killed the limit. Miss Roena Judd returned last' week to the home of her grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Adams, after a week's visit in Oakley, Idaho, with her mother, Mrs. Ben T. Judd. Mrs. Ruby Atwood of Los Angeles, who has been visiting for the past ten days with Utah relatives, was the guest of her sisters, Mrs. George Richards and Mrs. Martha Canham, during the past week. Mr. Vern Cullimore and Mrs. Laura Lau-ra Keetch employes of the Dixon-Taylor-Russell Co., were in Provo Wednesday to attend) a meeting of jail the employes of the Dixon-Taylor-Russell Co. Among the pheasant hunters the first of the week were: L. L. Larson, Roy Deveraux, S. A. Kirk, Roy Fage, Reed Carlson. It is reported that Reed Carlson was fortunate in killing kill-ing two large geese, i Mrs. Fred C. Shoell entertained Wednesday evening, October 29, in i f -ho-,- vmchnnd's birthday. As special guests of the occasion, Mr. Shoell's four sisters who had not all been together for many years were present as follows: Mrs. Emily Bacon, Mr. and Mrs. Beatrice Stone of Garfield; Mrs. Lewis Tripp, Murray; Mur-ray; Mrs. Florence Bezzant, American' Ameri-can' Fork. About twenty-five other relatives and friends were present. A delicious luncheon was served. The evening was spent in early family fam-ily remininscenses and social chat. The social also honored Mrs. Shoell's mother, Mrs. Margaret Wilson, whose birthday occurred on October 28. |
