Show Local Items Mrs. Christensen of Salt Lake City was a Sunday guest at the home of Mrs. G. H. Robinson, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Elgin Lee is in the Lehi hospital hos-pital receiving medical and surgical treatment. She was taken to the hospital Thursday of last week. Joseph Karren was taken to the Lehi hospital Friday where he has been receiving treatment for pneumonia. pneu-monia. His condition is reported to be very much improved. The Adams Camp Daughters of the Pioneers will hold a closing meeting Monday at 3 p. m. at the home of Captain Mary Anderson. There will also be a social in honor of Mrs. Sabina Allen, who is leaving town in the near future. A spicy program and refreshments will be I waiting. All members are requested request-ed to be present. The Home and Community section sec-tion of the Farm Bureau are having a party to be in the form of a "Get Together" from 3 to 5 p. m. Friday, June 26, at the Pleasant View ward in Provo. Mrs. Tracy Welling of Salt Lake City will be present and will conduct the installation ceremony. cere-mony. Frank Newman of the Lincoln Lin-coln high school will talk on "Fundamentals "Fun-damentals of Public Speaking." Mrs. J. P. Fugal will discuss "The Arrangement Ar-rangement of Cut Flowers" and will demonstrate the same. Recreation and refreshments will follow the the meeting. |
