Show 'Open House' To Celebrate Ward Remodeling Work Celebrating the completion of a remodeling and renovating program at the ward chapel, the First ward will hold open house from 4 to 7 o'clock on Friday, November 10. The general public is invited to join the First ward on the occasion. A banquet will be held at 7:30 p. m., to be followed by a dance. The M. I. A. of the ward is in charge of the banquet; the Relief society, the ticket sales; and the Sunday School, the program. The Primary association associa-tion will be in charge of the fishpond, fish-pond, popcorn booth and notions booth. The affair will mark the completion comple-tion of an extensive program costing cost-ing some $2,000, under which a new pulpit has been installed, seating rearranged, aisles and rostrum carpeted, car-peted, a small recreation room provided, pro-vided, the steeple removed and the tower remodeled, the roof reshingled and the interior repainted and redecorated re-decorated and the exterior trim repainted. re-painted. o |
