Show June Conference ! At Salt Lake Friday The annual Y. M. M. I. A. and Y. L. M. I. A. and Primary Association Associa-tion June conference will open in Salt Lake City today (Friday). The workers from these organizations from all parts of the L. D. S. church will assemble and receive instruction instruc-tion for the work to be carried on during the coming year. Many workers work-ers from this stake are expected. M. I. A. Program The M. I. A. convention commences com-mences this morning at 9 a. m. with an hour's general session and will continue at 10:45 a. m. until noon with department work in which detailed de-tailed instruction to department heads will be given. From 1 to 4 p. m. the contest finals will take place as follows: M. Men speaking South High; Gleaner speaking West High; Operetta Op-eretta South High; Drama West High; Archery L. D. S. Campus. At 4:30 p. m. at Saltair the annual reception for conference visitors and the finals in the M. I. A. dance contest con-test will take place. Mrs. Dessie Wilde and LuZell Chipman, Alpine stake winners and winners of the First division dance contests will appear ap-pear in these finals, competing for Church honors. The . conference will continue Saturday with a general session from 9 to 9:45 a. m. From 10 a. m. to 12 noon the department sessions will again be held separately. During the noon period there will be a special superintendents and presidents presi-dents luncheon. In the afternoon from 2 to 4 p. m. there will be a general session, at 4:15 p. m. a lawn party on the L. D. S. campus lawns, and at 7:30 p. m. a Boy Scout celebration. cele-bration. Sunday there will be three general sessions. In the evening meeting the Alpine and Lehi stake M. I. A. choruses will participate as members of the chorus of one thous-! thous-! and voices directed by Spencer Corn-!walL Corn-!walL Primary Program The Primary convention opens Friday at 8 o'clock with a stake play leaders meeting from 8 to 10 a. m. From 10 until noon there will be department sessions. At from 12 to 1 o'clock a lunch will be e njoyed on Barratt hall lawn. The convention will commence again at 1:30 and last until 4:00 with a meeting for all ward officers followed by a reception on the state capitol lawns for all ward officers. The Saturday meetings commence again at 8 a. m. with a meeting for all representatives. From 9 to 10 a. m. there will be department meetings meet-ings and from 10 to 12 noon a general gene-ral session. ' At 2" p. m. and lasting to 4 p. m. there will be a general session. Sunday, Sun-day, conference opens at 8:30 a. m. with a national broadcast program for one hour. From 10 to 11 a. m. a general session will be held and at 2 p. m. the convention will end with a general meeting.
