Hayes, renew re-new ing acquaintances and calling on o:d time friends and reliving many I interesting events of their youthful1 Id.ivs. i i j Those present are Mrs. Sarah B. ; Staker of Annabclla. Sevier county; I jMrs. M.iry B Clark of Provo. Mrs. I I Lydia B. Lund of Salt Lake City. ! and Mrs. Nettie B. Thorne of Heber. ! J ranging in age from 72 to 83 years. I I On Tuesday they motored to their 'old home in Lehi where they lived .before coming to Pleasant Grove, j called on friends and relatives and. enjoyed again the scenes of their childhood and visited the cemetery j where four of the family lie burled. I Today they will go to Salt Lake ICity and visit their brother. Dr. j John Z. Brown and their sister. Mrs. Parilee B. Hayes and send greetings to their "baby" sister. Mrs. Amy B. Lyman in London. j John Brown was a pioneer of July 22. 1847. and the family home was in Salt Lake City until 1854. when they moved to a farm in Lehi. In 1S63 he was called to succeed Henson Walker as Bishop of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, which place was their permanent home and the final resting rest-ing place of a number of members of the family. |
