Show Officers Return Suspects Here In Penney Burglary Two suspects held by Fort Worth, Texas authorities, were being returned re-turned to Utah county this week for investigation in connection with the J. C. Penney company burglary on ! the night of March 20. I Sheriff E. G. Durnell and Deputy Sheriff Walter Durrant drove to Fort Worth to return the man and woman picked up by the Fort Worth peace officers, allegedly with goods from the local store in their possession. posses-sion. The officers w:ere expected to return re-turn here with the suspects in the middle or latter part of the week. The pair will face questioning in connection with the burglary of the J. C. Penney store, which was broken brok-en into through a back window on March 20 during a blizzard. Merchandise Mer-chandise valued at more than $200, and $65 in cash were taken, M. L. Baird, store manager, reported. Reports received by authorities here and in Provo were that most of the merchandise, which included shoes, jackets, clothing and other articles, had been recovered. |
