Mrs. William Chipman, Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Chipman, Mrs. J. L. Firmage arid Mrs. E- P. Firmage, the latter of Provo, were visitors in Salt Lake City on Monday. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. arid Mrs. David S. Taylor last Friday evening were, Mrs. W. W. Williamson of Forsythe, Montana, and Mrs. James W. Taylor of Lehi. I Mr- and Mrs. Glen L. ' Ralph Gillispie, who has been em ployed 'i Helper the past several months, has been transferred to Pleas ant Grove for an indefinite period. Jesse Spafford, who is receiving V medical treatment at Farmington, visited from Tues'day until Thursday with his wife and children, who are at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs- William R. Miss Myrtle Wilde in company with Edward Lee attended "Rio Rita" at the Orpheum theatre in Salt Lake Sunday evening. G. A. Zabriskie underwent a serious operation at the Lehi Hospital Mon. day. According to last reports, he is getting along very nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Christensen and two sons, Paul and Whic, of Cedar City, was week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. N. D- Evans of Park City, were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Evans. Mrs. E. Hamilton of Salt Iake City was a Sunday visitor at the Evans home. The Sororsis ladies held a quilting quilt-ing party Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Thomas Coddington. The sewing diversion was participated partici-pated in until early evening, when a tasty repast was served- Charming among social events of the past week was the well appointed, appoint-ed, party given Saturday evening at 1 the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Christensen. A hot "supper was served serv-ed at 7:30 o'clock, after which games and music were the enjoyable features fea-tures of the evening. "Ro- mance" by Sheldon given by Mrs. j Stewart of the University of Utah Dramatic Art department at the B. Y. U. College Hall last Wednesday evening. Miss Chipman studied under und-er Mrs. Stewart last year, and is continuing her dramatic art course j this year at the Young university as j her major sturdy.
