Show Ten Years Ago Now (Taken from files of May 15, 192G) High school commencement exorcises exor-cises will be held in the tabernacle tonight at which 39 young men and women will receive diplomas. Miss Lenore Crookston will give the Valedictory address. The scholarship scholar-ship to the B. Y. U. offered by the Ladies Literary club and the Sorasis ladies was won by MLss Rose Marie Liddle, Miss Iris Evans and MLss Lenore Crookston winning second and third places. Ten Years Ago Now Diplomas signifying that they have successfully completed the course of study as set forth by the Church for the Seminary will be presented to 25 students Sunday night. Leo B. Sharp is principal or the Seminary and has the excretes in charge. Ten Years Ago Now "Owl Inn", neat and attractive drive-in refreshment station on the Mutual Creamery corner, opened for business Saturday night. David DavLs and Glen Chadwick, owners, are more than pleased with the patronage accorded them Sunday and during the week. Miss Florence Logsdon is assisting in service at this new establishment. Ten Years Ar;o Now On May 19, next Wednesday, the 1926 "American" yearbook of the high school will be ready for the students. The book, of 100 pages, will be neatly bound and tied, each class has a section in addition to the general activities. |
