Mr. and Mrs. Roy Meecham of Hiawatha visited Sunday with Mrs. Meecham's parents, President and Mrs. W. W. Warnick. , , Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd B. Cullimore and Mrs. Merle Kirk of Provo, were guests at the A. L. Cullimore home on Mother's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hardy of Og-den, Og-den, and Miss Edna West, who is attending a beauty school in Salt Lake City, spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas West. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby West and Mrs. West's parents of Logan, spent Mother's Day at the home of Shelby's Shel-by's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. West, at Lindon. Mrs. H. B. Warnick and daughter, Bernice, visited with Mrs. Warnick's mother, Mrs. Gardiner, at Salem, Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Swenson entertained enter-tained at a family dinner Sunday. D. Wadley. Mrs. L. N. Peterson, who has been visiting with her son and family in Salt Lake for the past two weeks came home Saturday. Elmo Beers, who was injured in a gas explosion in Provo about three weeks ago is able to go back to work at his old job in Provo.. Mr. and ' Mrs. Howard Sundberg ' and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Sundberg of Salt Lake City were guests of their mother, Mrs. Hannah Sundberg, Sund-berg, on Mother's day. Miss Christie Johnson and Al Studstrup of Salt Lake .City, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Peay, Mr. and Mrs. Lyean Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Elden Johnson were dinner guests Friday evening at the Erving Johnson John-son home. Harold Nelson, son of Harry Nelson, Nel-son, who has been employed at Mer-cur Mer-cur for the past six months, was operated on for hernia and appendicitis, appendi-citis, recently at the Aird hospital. He is in a very serious condition. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Warnick and baby attended Black and White Day at Plain City Friday morning. In the afternoon Mrs. Warnck visited relatives in Ogden while Mr. Warnick War-nick attended a State Dairy Federation Federa-tion meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Blackwell were guests of Mr. William,'' Blackwell, Sunday. ' Mr. and Mrs. Burlin Driggs, who have been in Los Angeles, Calif., for the past two months, are home for the summer. Barney Hilton spent Wednesday evening with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hilton. He leaves Salt Lake City Thursday evening at 6:30 o'clock for a mission to the Netherlands. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Peterson and Scott Benson of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. O'Brien of Spanish Fork were Mother's day visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Martin Peterson. Glen Matthews is m the veterans hospital in Salt Lake convalescing from an operation for hernia and other complications. Mrs. Inez Bush and family were guests on Mother's Day of Mrs. Bush's mother, Mrs. Ida Whiting, of Springville. i Mrs. George Mad son of Provo, visited with her mother, Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Williamson, on Mother's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Warnick: and Mr. and Mrs. Warnick Swenson visited on Mother's Day with Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Eldredge of Granger. Mrs. C. P. Warnick who has spent the winter in Provo, was a week-end visitor at her home here. On Sunday Sun-day fil of her 6ons and daughters gave her a Mother's Day visit. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Parduhn had as special guests on Mother's Day, Mrs. Parduhn's mother, Mrs. J. A. Dickenson, and her sisters, Elaine, Florence and their husbands, and her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Dickerson. Mrs. Jane Walker was honored on Mother's Day with a short visit from her sons and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Walker, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse M. Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Walker, Walk-er, Mr. and Mrs. John V. Johnson ; and Mr. and Mrs. L. G. West. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Peterson, Mrs. Jennie Halliday, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Wal-do Bateman and Mrs. Vida. Conway and familiea were guests . of then-parents, then-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Fage Sunday. Mrs. B. H. Adams will leave May 22, for London, England, to visit her relatives and her old home. When she arrives in New York she will visit Miss Wanda Robertson, sieter of Prof. LeRoy Robertson. She expects ex-pects to visit relatives at Dover, Southhampton and other points along the south coast of England. Her present schedule says she will remain in England until July 24th. Mrs. F. L. Culmer visited the past week with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Olpin at Fillmore. Mr. Olpin rerently underwent under-went an operation for appendicitis and is now convalescing at his home. His mother, Mrs. Inez Olpin, has been visiting there the past week. Roy is an ambitious fellow and it took both mothers to keep him in bed the first few days after he came home from the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Bertram West and family of Springville, Mrs. Belva West Duke of Heber, Mrs. Florence West Devey and their families spent Mother's day with their mother, Mrs. Berly West. Mrs. West is improving im-proving from her injuries received in a recent accident. |
