Paul Dan Forbes, month-old son of Paul and Vera Street Forbes, passed away at their home here Thursday morning of erysipelas. Funeral services were held at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Forbes, Friday at 1 p. m. under the direction of Bishop E. W. Burgess. The opening song was Though Deepening Trials" and the invocation was offered by Fred Strong. The speakers were Counselor Counse-lor John A. Whitby and Bishop E. W. Burgess. Interspersing the remarks re-marks of the speakers a solo, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives", was rendered by Mrs. Leah Green. The closing song was a solo, "Your Sweet Little Rosebud Has Left You", by Miss Fae Clark. The benediction was pronounced by Joseph A. Forbes, For-bes, grandfather of the infant, and the grave in the Alpine cemetery was dedicated by A. Robey Forbes. The little one is survived by its parents, two sisters, three grandparents grand-parents and a host of other relatives. Mrs. Bryant Ashby and Mr. and Mrs. John McKenzie of Nevada, were visitors at the home of Mrs. Hazel Nerdin Wednesday of last week. Mrs. McKenzie was formerly Miss Fae Ashby of Alpine, and a friend of Mrs. Nerdin's. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Smith returned return-ed home Monday from a week's visit in Idaho with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Searle and family and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Smith. Mrs. Milton Muir left last Friday for Bingham where she was called on account of the death of her niece. She will remain for a short time to visit relatives. Mrs. George Neilson of Butte, Montana, Is visiting her sister, Mrs. Thomas McGregor. Mr. and Mrs. John F. Moyle received re-ceived word of the arrival Friday morning of a fine baby daughter at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Moyle, at Magna. |
