Show New M. I. A. Stake Officers Named Here Four new members on the Stake Board were introduced at the Union meeting of the Mutual Improvement Association Monday night in the tabernacle. Miss Myrtle Henderson will conduct the drama department for the Young Women; Leigh Ingersoll Inger-soll will act as secretary; George Scott, Explorers, and Stanley Peters, M. Men departments on the -board of the Young Men. J. B. Stewart, secretary secre-tary for the Young Men and Mrs. Mable McNeill, stake Era director, were released during the quarterly conference Sunday. The stake workers are pleased with the report from the wards on the Era campaign now being conducted. The four wards reporting at the union meeting Monday brought the stake to 20 per cent of the quota of 307 subscriptions. Posters indicating indicat-ing the quota and standing of each ward and the stake are now on display dis-play in the office of the Utah Power & Light company. The church authorities au-thorities urge all members to subscribe sub-scribe to the Era as a guide to church activities in the Priesthood and M. I. A. work. o |
