She was born July 10, 1915, the daughter of Willis Alvin and Estella Peterson Blood in Kingston, Piute County, Utah. She married James J. McCabe, Feb. ' 13, 1971 in Orem. She Graduated from Circleville High School. She spent her early life in Kingston and moved to Orem in 1952. She enjoyed traveling, handiwork and gardening. gar-dening. She raised and started roses for friends and family.' She worked for many years at the Richfield Community Hospital and at the Utah State Training School in American Fork. She was a Relief Society work director for the Orem 78th LDS Ward. She worked in the YWMIA in Spanish Fork 4th Ward. Survivors include her husband of Orem; one son, three daughters, Willis C. Washburn, Lander, Wyo.; Mrs. Marvin (Stella) Wadley, Orem; Mrs. Carl (Kathy) Pace Jr., Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Don (Anna) Mason, LeClaire, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one brother, Afton Blood of Angle, Utah. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. in the Sund-berg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State, Pleasant Grove. He was born April 14, ii 1904 in Stoney Creek, N.Y., to Truman and ( Harriet Pearl Wheeler ; Winslow. He married Nellie t Cude in 1921 at i; Cascade, Idaho. She e died Sept. 10, 1979. He was a steel worker at Geneva Steel. He and ; his wife worked as j custodians of the LDS I Church for many years. I He was a High Priest and served as secretary an LDS mission in Independence, Missouri; Missou-ri; seven grandchildren; grand-children; 21 great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Hamner, Pleasant Grove. He was preceded in death by three sons, Floyd, Gerald and Wayman Winslow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. Alice Elaine Dimick Passey, 86, of Orem, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1987 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. She was born July 29, 1901 in Wardboro, Bear Lake County, Idaho, a daughter of Francis Alma and Celia Alice Evans Dimick. She married Earl F. Passey June 4, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Oct. 14, 1960. She was educated in Montpelier, Idaho schools. She taught school for two years after receiving her teaching certificate from the Idaho Southern State College in Pocatello. She was a long-time resident of Randolph and Rich County. She moved to Logan after her husband died and has lived in Orem since January 1976. She was a visiting teacher supervisor and quilling director at the time of her death. Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Lyman Earl Passey, Murray; Frederick William Passey, San Mateo, Calif.; Mrs. LaMar (Melba) Argyle, American Fork; Mrs. Robert (Afton) Zundel, Cedar City; 22 grandchildren; grand-children; 44 great grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Richard Dimick and Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Collipriest, both of Montpelier, Idaho. A son and a daughter preceded her in death, Richard and Jeanette Passey. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 2, in the Orem S9nH ".'-.J Chapel. Carl Edwards Dean Albert Anderson, An-derson, 82, of Tustin, Calif., former resident of Utah Valley, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1987 in Tustin, Calif. He married Elva Brown May 26, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Aug. 13, 1962. He was a former professor of microbiology at BYU. He recently has been a professor of microbiology at Cal State College of Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Elgin Anderson, Tustin, Calif.; one son and one daughter: Gordon Anderson, California; and LaDean Durram, Colorado. Also by four stepchildren. He was born July 7, 1919 in Cedar City, the son of Charles Cooper 1: and Mary Ann Sorenson ' Edwards. ' He married Rhoda Leah Johnson May 11, s 1939 in Farmington. She died Jan. 17, 1986. ' He was a member of the LDS Church, a 11 member of the Car- 'penters union, retiring in 1976. He is survived by one Riverton; Mrs. Arlo K. She was born March 11, 1 890 in Vineyard, the daughter of Charles Sr. and Christina Winter Handley. She married Andrew Cartwright Aug. 6, 1914 in Tooele. He died Jan. 29, 1966. She served as Tooele County Chairman of the Republican Party, past president of Ladies Christian Society, a member of the Tooele Community Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Gordon ( Marie i Haynes. Orem; Mrs. Helen Nuesmeyer. Tooele; Mrs. John (Mildred) Gibben. She was born April 1, 1935 in Pleasant Grove, a daughter of Harold H. and Lola Robbins Bullock. She married Sterling G. Loveland Aug. 14, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church living in the Orem 60th Ward. She had held many auxiliary positions including stake Relief Society president, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women's president, Primary teacher, and most recently, Relief Society spiritual living husband, two sons and three daughters: Mrs. Bryce (Sue Ann) Bodily, Murray; David Sterling Loveland, Logan; John H. Loveland, serving an LDS mission in Paraguay; Lisa and Rebekah Loveland, both of Orem; three grandchildren; her parents of Pleasant Grove; a sister and three brothers: Mrs. Donald (Georgia Lea) Schaefer, Orem; Harold R. He was born Aug. 21, 1927 in Pleasant Grove, a son of Rennard Clifford and Margaret Ellison Wilkinson Green. He married Coralie Candland on May 23, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nev. He lived in Lehi after his marriage until January 1987. He was an Elder in the LDS Church and served as a Home Teacher. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Surviving are his wife of Pleasant Grove; children, Paul Keith Green. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was employed 20 years with Mountain Bell Telephone Company. He served 26 years on the Alpine City Volunteer Fire Department. He was active in scouting, served in a bishopric, was a High Priest in the Alpine 5th I Nevada ; eight grandchildren; grand-children; one brother and one sister: Douglas C. He was born July 28, 1920 in Cedar View to Harry and Golda Pyle Hardinger. He married Wanita J. Atwood May I, 1947. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He received his education from West High. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during World War II. He was a meat cutter, having worked for McFarland and Sons tor zu years, wonted at various butcher shops and managed several meat shops. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the local V.F.W. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove 7th Ward. Survivors include his wife of Orem; four sons and one daughter: Garth Hardinger, Pleasant Grove; Gary Hardinger, West Valley; Gail Hardinger, Hillsboro, Ore.; Dale Hardinger, Honolulu, Hawaii and Beth Ann Flygare, Provo; 23 grandchildren; four great granacnnaren ; five brothers and four sisters: Harry Hardinger, Har-dinger, Madrid, Spain; Tobias Hardinger, Ft.
