Show Genealogical records work shops to begin BYU's Department of Conferences Con-ferences and Workshops is sponsoring spon-soring an exciting workshop in keeping genealogical records. In 10 hours of hands-on instruction you can learn to use the Personal Ancestral An-cestral File software developed by the LDS Church. Nineteen sessions of the workshop will be held beginning Jan. 15 running through July 29. All sessions will be in room 1164 of the BYU Conference Center on a Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and the following Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The workshop fee is $65 and each session is limited to 15 people to facilitate one person per computer. Participants should come prepared with genealogical records detailing approximately four generations of ancestry. Interested persons may register at BYU Conferences and Workshops, 136 Harman Continuing Education Building. |
