Show Local bowler barely misses perfect game One stubborn pin kept Randall House of Pleasant Grove from bowling a perfect score last Thursday Thur-sday night, according to Larry Lindstrom, owner of Superbowl in Lindon. "The 299 score is the highest recorded this year in the Central Utah Bowler's Association," says Lindstrom. "It means he bowled 11 strikes in a row and left one pin standing on his last ball." Had House knocked down the last pin, he would have received a $300 cash prize from Superbowl. "We were all rooting for him," says Lindstrom. "but the last pin just wouldn't go down." Officials from the bowler's association had to certify the lanes so the score could be officially recorded. |
