Show obituaries William T. Bower William Thatcher Bower, 60, died Oct. 25, 1984. He was born Oct. 12, 1924, in Salt Lake City to Franklin Edgar and Rachel Hannah Thatcher That-cher Brower. He married Loretta Mae Palmer Oct. 4, 1962, in Pocatello, Ida. He was a maintenance main-tenance man for a rest home. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Fork Fourth LDSWard. He is survived by his wife of American Fork; three daughters and five sons: Judith Ann Brower, Florida; Janet Harris, Minnesota; Sandra McLeod, American Fork, Stan Palmer Brower, Pleasant Grove; William Charles, Franklin Edgar, Aaron Preston and Brian Conrad Brower, all of American Fork; 11 grandchildren ; two brothers: Edgar F. Brower, Poulsen, Mont. ; Stan Orem Brower, Cedar City; two sisters: Barbara Scott, Washington, D.C.; Argenta Muehler, Renton, Wash. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 29, in the Andersott- & Sons Mortuary Chapel, American Fork. Burial will be Wednesday in Ronan, Mont. Irene T. Robison t ' f ' - f i 't ' f IX' t Lehi. She is survived by her husband, Lehi; two sons: Gerald "Jerry" Erickson, Lehi; and Max Alan Erickson, Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one brother, Lloyd Robert Turner, Lehi. Services were held Monday, Oct. 29 in the ! Lehi First Ward. Burial I was in the Lehi City i Cemetery. Irene Elizabeth Turner Robison, 69, Lehi, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 1984, at her home following a long illness. She was born July 15, 1915, at American Fork to Alfred Thomas and Sarah Hannah Macklin Turner. She married Alma M. Erickson. He died Nov. 7, 1958. She married Almon Robison in 1967 at Wells, Nev. She was a member of the LDS Church. She worked as a nursing aid and as a waitress in J. Thorne Smith children; three brothers and two sisters: Ruth M. Buehler, Midway; Ethel Smith and Reed Smith, Salt Lake City; Dean L. Smith, American Fork; Leon E. Smith, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Third Ward Chapel, 400 E. at 200 North. Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortuary, Mor-tuary, 500 S. 300 E., Pleasant Grove, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. or Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. J. Thorne Smith, 64, Pleasant Grove, died Oct. 29, 1984 at his home in Pleasant Grove. He was born March 5, 1920 in Pleasant Grove, a son of Leon Monroe and Genevieve Thorne Smith. He attended schools in Pleasant Grove, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School. He married Maxine Fryer on May 25, 1942 in Evanston, Wyoming. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church living in the Pleasant Grove Third Ward where he was presently serving as secretary of the High Priests Group. He had served as ward clerk. He was owner and operator of Smith Brothers Market in Pleasant Grove for the past 45 years; taking his sons into the business during the past several years. Survivors include his wife, Pleasant Grove; four sons and a daughter: Paul J. Smith, Glenn T. Smith and Kim Smith, all of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Karen Everts, Orem; Jeffrey Lee Smith, Provo; 12 grand- William A. Taylor for many years. He is survived by two daughters and one son: Mrs. Isaac (Twila)Hardman, American Am-erican Fork; Mrs. Mervin (Vanetta) Pyne, Tooele; Wayne F. Taylor, Provo; a step son and daughter, James Chesnut and Mrs. Shirley Allshouse, both of American Fork; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m. in the Anderson An-derson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. William (Bill) Albert Taylor, 85, died Oct. 29, 1984, in American Fork, Utah. He was born June 20, 1899, in Salem, Utah, the only child of William Henry and Eliza Jane Tarrell Wilson Taylor. He had five half-brothers half-brothers and sisters: Lula May Wilson, Nellie Warner, Myrtle Lehshon, Will and Guy Wilson, all are deceased. He married Gen-navieve Gen-navieve Startin on June 6, 1928. They were later divorced. He married Pearl Lerwill Chesnut on Feb. 23, 1946. She died March 14, lOS:.. He was an active member of the American Fork 5th LDS Ward. He was a farmer in his early life and later worked as a carpenter on the construction of the Geneva Steel Plant. He retired from Geneva Steel in 1964. He enjoyed gardening and music. He played the Harmonica wit the American Fork Senior citizen's "Fun Band" |
