Show Don't forget to vote ! Tuesday, Nov. 6, is the day all registered voters have an opportunity to have their say in how the county, state and federal government is going to be run. Don't miss your opportunity! , There are all kinds of people, articles, speakers, and politicians urging qualified voters to vote. They should not have to urge the citizens. We as citizens should make every effort to express our feelings through the voting process on our own initiative. Some say they don't want to waste their vote because they do not know who to vote for or they haven't even heard of the guys running for state auditor. Maybe not, but vote anyway. It is possible to read about the candidates can-didates in local newspapers prior to the elections or you can always ask some of the people you trust what they think of the candidates and you can form some opinions this way. Probably the most common reason given for not voting is that people forget to go to the polls. The day slips away before they manage to get there. The answer to that is to go early. 'The polls open at 8 a.m.. |
