It's called the Stamp Mill, and is located at 45 W. Center ( in the old Bradshaw Auto Parts store). The husband and wife team of Rick and Iris Erickson run the much diversified store. They originally had a rubber stamp business that flourished in their home for two years. As their business expanded, they decided to move into town and lake on several other businesses as well. They do heat transfers for the general public in sizes from infants clear up to extra-larg- e for men. The fun tran-sfers are as diversified as Ihe sizes. The heat transfer and is also done on hats. They will take an organization or school's original design, or they will do the artwork for them. Another business thev have is trophy and plaque engraving. They with photo will do custom work er:afdSi1eydothemajorilyof the rubber stamps in Utah County. She also said that December was exceptionally busy with orders from banks changing the year on the slamps. Her husband had heard about the business from a friend in California, and thought he might try it as a hobby one day. The Ericksons make their home in Pleasant Grove, and say they really enioy the community and the people that live here. They are originally Barbara area in from the Santa California, but have lived up here for a number of years. - . One additional business they do is cutting keys. A reception and dance will follow from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. All friends are invited. Parents of the future groom are Dallas and Janice Groo of Lindon and L.A. Catholic Convocation Planned A Lenten Convocation for the Catholics of Utah will be held Feb. 28, at the University of Utah Special Events Center, the Most Rev. William K. Weigand, Bishop of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, has announced. Entitled "Gathered in His Name," or "Reunidos en su nombre", the con-vocation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last until 5:30 p.m. The gathering will feature guest speakers and sessions in both English and Spanish.' Bishop Weigand will celebrate a special bilingual Mass at 12:30 p.m. "it ic with inv and 11. Williams Wins Trip By MARY COONS " Most of us would feel very lucky to win one trip to Hawaii. Robert Williams of Pleasant Grove has now won two from Alpine Credit Union. Williams, Pleasant Grove's city treasurer, jokingly told the tellers at the credit union to be sure to "pick his ticket." When Elizabeth Bewan called him and told him that his ticket had been drawn, Williams thought she was kidding him. He , said that he jumped in his 1 car and ran down to the I credit union to check out 1 whether or not he had I won. I The last time he won 1 was in 1974. He gave the tickets as a gift to his i parents. This time, he's taking his friend, David Wadley, and they're planning on having a good time for at least eight days and seven I nights. When asked what they plan to do, Williams said, "we're both single . ; - does that answer your question?" 'I They'll stay at the Hawaiian Regent Hotel in Honolulu. Williams said that he is very grateful to the credit union, and considering the current weather, he might not come back x :.
