Show Funeral Rites Held Feb. 13 For Virgil L. Chadsey Funeral services for Virgil LeRoy Chadsey, 68, of Pleasant Grove, who died Feb. 9, 1980, were held Wednesday, Feb. 13 in the Pleasant Grove Stake Center, under the direction of Bishop Iowa Hall of the Fifth Ward. Speaker at the services ser-vices was Leon Hatch, and Bishop Hall also gave remarks. A tribute to father was given by Betty Neilson. A life sketch was given by Bob Chadsey. A musical number was given by Dixie Fairbourne, accompanied accom-panied by Louise Johnson. Prayers were given by Joe Chadsey, Bob Neilson and Fred Fair-bourne, Fair-bourne, and the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was dedicated by Floyd Chadsey. Pallbearers were Joe, Jim, Floyd, Ron, Bob and Don Chadsey. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Neilson, Larry Reed, and Fred Fairbourne. Virgil LeRoy Chadsey was born Nov. 12, 1911 in Shamrock, Texas, to Orin Willard and Mary Dellila LaCrone Chadsey. He married Ruth Winegar Dec. 17, 1934, in Scotts-bluff, Scotts-bluff, Neb. The marriage mar-riage was later solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a meat cutter at Utah State Training School and Reams in American Fork. Survivors include his widow, six sons, four daughters, Mrs. Fred (Dixie) Fairbourne, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Neilson, both of Salt Lake City; Jim Chadsey, Sandy; Mrs. Larry (Judy) Reed.-Tooele; Reed.-Tooele; Joe Chadsey, Glendale, Calif.; Mrs. Peggy Lowry, Montgomery, Mon-tgomery, Ala.; Floyd Chadsey, Payson, Bob Chadsey, Orem, Ron and Don Chadsey, both of Pleasant Grove; 34 grandchildren, a sister, Stella Graham, Alliance, Neb. |
