LDS Church to Exhibit at Fair August 16 through 19 are the days, and Spanish Fork is the place for the LDS Church's Utah County Fair Exhibit. Louis E. Crandall, Fair Exhibit chairman, said this year's display promises to be the best in years. "We have taken the exhibits theme from a church directive which discusses the importance of personal and family 'preparedness standards. The name of the exhibit is 'Preparedness Panorama 78,' " Mr. Crandall added. Representatives from Pleasant Grove Utah East and Pleasant Grove Utah Stakes are assisting with preparations for the exhibit. A special exhibit is being planned by the 48 stakes in the Utah Valley for the fair. Mr. and Mrs. Ferron Johnston and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blackhurst will coordinate activities in one of the five sections at the exhibit, illustrating various ways Church leaders encourage members to prepare. "Producing and Preserving" is the area of focus for these two stakes and members who have special abilities or interests in this area may be requested to assist.
