A reception was held that evening to honor the newlyweds from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Stake House. The bride was attended by Lorna Larson as maid of honor, and Debbie Durrant and Laurel Whitely as bridesmaids, Julie Anne Stock was flower girl. Kevin Durrant was the best man who is the brother of the bride groom. Special Guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Freelove, of St. G eorge, Grand-parent- s of the Bride, and Mrs. Lila Cheny, and Mrs. Pearl Durrant of American Fork, Grandmothers of the bridegroom.' Mrs. Durrant attended Pleasant Grove High School, and was active in the LDS seminary, and is currently employed at Pykes Manufacturing Co. in Lehi. Mr. Durrant graduated from American Fork High School where he was active in tennis. He is currently employed at Amor Printing Co. in American Fork. The couple will be residing in American Fork. Jackson, of Springville, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Virginia to Mr. Richard J. Cook, son of Mr. Richard Cook and the son of Mrs. Carolyn Cook, both of Pleasant Grove. The couple will be married October 9, 1976. Kay and Wanda Robbins of Orem are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter Wendy to Rick Alan Davider son of Carl and Claireece Davider of Pleasant Grove. The couple will exchange vows Wednesday Oct 6. A reception will follow that evening from 8 until 10 p.m. at the Colonial House 187 West Main in Lehi. All frien-ds and relatives are invited. Chadwick of American Fork, Utah are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nadine, to James R. Jeppson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ovid A. Jeppson of Pleasant Grove, Utah. The couple will exchange marriage vows on Thursday, October 7th, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Following the ceremony, the parents of the groom will host a wedding breakfast at thejLion House. A j reception will honor the newlyweds that evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the American Fork 8th Ward Cultural Hall, 300 North 100 East, American Fork, Utah. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of American Fork High School and LDS Seminary, and is also a graduate of Brigham Young University in Elementary Education. She is presently employed at Midvalley Elementary in Jordan School District. The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor degree in Business Management, and a graduate of the Thunderbird Graduate School of Phoenix, Arizona, with a masters degree in In-ternational Management. He served an LDS Mission to Chile, and is presently employed as Assistant Manager of the Highland Drive Branch of FirstSecurity Bank in Salt Lake City, Utah. Following their marriage the couple plan to make their home in Sandy, Utah. A pre-nupti- shower for the bride has been hosted by Diane McKinney. Attending the bride will be Jean Chadwick, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Irene Sloan, Rae Overson and Kathleen Cook. Performing the duties of best man will be Stephen Jeppson and seated at the guest registry will be Irene Carlson. A.F. Hospital Lists Babies Among babies born at the American Fork Hospital during the week ending Sept. 18, 1976 were the following from the Pleasant Grove area. Sept. 13, a girl to Jerry L. and Ellen Young Sweat. Sept. 17, a girl to Dick B. and Susanne Prestwich Covington. Ed. Note: The hospital staff closes out the births on their report to us as of Saturday night. They usually get the report to us by Wednesday morning for insertion in the Review. Last week, and again this, the report was not here. Legion Auxiliary Unit 70 Holds Meeting Friday at Monsons Officers and members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 70 met at the home of June Monson Friday. Presidednt LaVon Ander-son called the meeting to or-der and discussed the business at hand. Also on the program were Christine Warnick who played a piano solo "Jesus joy of Men's disiring," and "Theme From Love Story." Florence Holt discussed the history of music and how important music is in our lives. She also played an arrangement of musical selec-tions on the piano. The marriage took place on Sept. 3, 1976 in San-taqui- n with Bishop Dale Butler of Santaquin of-ficiating. Kevin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Norton. Fabulous Fall Fling Set by Parents Without Partners A Fabulous Fall Fling has been planned by Beehive Regioncal Council of Parents Witnhoput Partners for single parents of Utah. Saturday, October 2, 1976 is the date for this event to be held at the Ben Lomand Hotel, 'Ogden, Utah. Activities for the day will include workshops, covering topics "Finding Friends," "Frightning Finan-ces Made Fearless," as well as chapter development workshops. Featured speakers will be Dr. Leo Dolan PHD (Psychology.) Ogden, Utah; Don Matthews, Department Head of General Education, Utah Technical College, Salt Lake, and Nayden Hackett, Zone I A-dministrator, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Zone I in-cludes Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. This all day event will be highlighted by a dinner-danc- e held in the Crystal Ball Room of the hotel. Live music and entertainment.
