Show AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 9 CHAPTER 3 SECTION 4 OF THE CITY ORDINANCES OF PLEASANT GROVE CITY TO PROVIDE A NEW APPLICATION AP-PLICATION FORM FOR WATER SERVICE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH: SECTION 4: APPLICATION FOR WATER SERVICE; DEPOSIT: Any person desiring a supply of water from the system, where such service is available, shall apply theretofore to the Treasurer, and file an agreement with the city, which agreement and application shall be in the following form: WATER AND SEWER SERVICE APPLICATION (For Landlord) PLEASANT GROVE CITY WATER AND SEWER SERVICE APPLICATION Pleasant Grove, Utah 19, I, hereby apply to the City of Pleasant Grove, Utah for water and-or sewer service at street, Pleasant Grove, Utah and I agree as follows (1) In consideration of the granting of this application, I will pay for all water and-or sewer service furnished such tenant, or other occupant of the place named in the application, in case such tenant or occupant shall fail to pay for the same according to the ordinances, rules and regulations enacted or adopted by Pleasant Grove City. (2) By executing this application, ap-plication, applicant also agrees to permit Pleasant Grove City to install water meter and service on owner's property near front property line, and hereby gives his consent to Pleasant Grove City, through its agents, to enter upon the property serviced by said water system for the purpose of installing meters and reading and maintaining said system and meter. Signed : Legal Owner (For Home Dweller) PLEASANT GROVE CITY WATER AND SEWER SERVICE APPLICATION Pleasant Grove, Utah 19 I, hereby apply to the City of PleasantGrove, Utah for water and-or sewer service at street, Pleasant Grove, Utah and I, agree as follows: (1) That from and after the date such service is granted, I will pay to the City of Pleasant Grove its regular monthly service fee, and all other charges lawfully assessed or made by the city for such service, and the City shall have the right to enforce payment of said charges by shutting off said water and sewer service in addition to all other rights and remedies to which the city may be entitled. (2) By executing this application, ap-plication, applicant also agrees to permit Pleasant Grove City to install water meter and service on owner's property near front property line, and hereby gives his consent to Pleasant Grove City, through its agents, lo enter upon the property serviced by said water system for the purpose of installing meters and reading and maintaining said system and meter. Deposit Paid $ Co-Signer Tenant The application shall be accompanied by a deposit of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to guarantee payment of all water rights and costs. In the event the user shall fail to pay his service charges the deposit shall be forfeited and applied to all delinquencies. Upon termination ter-mination of service, the deposit shall be returned to the depositor provided all such charges have been paid. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its final passage and twenty (20) days after its publication or posting.
