' t NANCY BEZZANT Miss FBLA A AT j DREW MAJOR Mr. FBLA Two PGHS Students Chosen as Mr., Miss FBLA at School Nancy Bezzant and Drew Major have been chosen to represent Pleasant Grove Chapter, Chap-ter, Future Business Leaders of America, as Miss FBLA and Mr. FBLA at the FBLA Leadership Lead-ership Conference to be held at Weber State College nekt week They will compete with approximately ap-proximately 30 other nominees nomin-ees from chapters throughout the state by taking tests and being interviewed by a panel of judges. Nancy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bezzant. She is serving as president of FBLA this year, executive secretary sec-retary to the faculty advisor of Pleasant Grove Seminary Council, Coun-cil, an officer in Girl's League, and a representative on the student council. She works as a student secretary on the Co-poerative Co-poerative Office Education program pro-gram at the Junior High School and works as a cashier at a food store. She was a representative repre-sentative at Girl's State last year. Drew is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Duane Major. He is president of National Honor Society this school year. He has served as president of the Thespian Club, and has been a member for three years. He has been very active in the ; dramatic productions of the school and active in music circles. cir-cles. He was on the Young Americans Am-ericans team that represented the school this year. He was chosen as Mr. FBLA because of his interest and ability in computer science, especially in the research area. Approximately 17 FBLA members from the local chapter chap-ter will compete in business contests to be conducted at the state conference on April 19-20. |
