Show Alpine School Disfricti Adult and Community (Education, Fall W2 GENERAL INFORMATION Adult Education Classas Classes for adults and others of appropriate age will begin the week of October 9, 1972, and will continue for eight to twelve weeks. The time and place of each class is listed on the following pages. Community Education Purpose of Community Education is to serve all the people, regardless of their age, with programs and activities that interest them. Everyone is invited to participate. Fees Registration fees are listed with each class. Cost of books and supplies used by the student is in addition to the registration fee. Registration Students should register at the first class period unless schedule specifies otherwise. Credit The classes do not carry credit unless listed under the Adult High School schedule. If high school credit for another course is desired, special arrangements should be made with Udell Westover, Director of Adult Education. Driver's Education Course in driver's training will be organized when twelve adults have registered. State law prohibits day high school students. Students must be at least 1 7 years of age or married. Other Classes Other classes and activities can be organized upon the registration of twelve people. Smoking The use of tobacco in the schools of the Alpine School District is strictly prohibited by the Board of Education. Call the Adult Education Department for information. ADULT HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULE Classes to be held at Pleasant Grove High School 700 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah Classes for credit are now being held at Pleasant Grove High School Fees - $10.00 per class. For those 21 years of age or younger a total of $10.00 for registration.
