PEANUTS 3fm M00 ARNOLD HENRICHSEN President Senior Citizens- - Senior Citizens Are Planning to Help In New Program Arnold Henrichsen, presi-dent of the Pleasant Grove Senior Citizens, enjoyed a Christmas Party with the group of 53 members last Thursday, Dec. 14 at the Oakcrest Inn in Spanish Fork. The Inn was decorat-ed with the seasons beauty, which everyone enjoyed. Nicia Sorenson of Span-ish Fork gave three music-als accompanied by Pat Mit-chell. She also told a Christ-mas story. Marie Huff of the Oak-cre- st Inn gave three comic readings. Santa came and treated all to goodies, and the group sang Christmas carols. Alice Simper told of a new program, R.S.V.P. in Utah County, initiated by the government. This grant is a result of President Nix-on's request to Congress last fall to expand oppor-tunities for meaningful Vol-unteer service for Older Am-ericans. RSVP Retired Sen-ior Volunteer Program, will make it possible to channel your talents and energies in-to volunteer jobs. With many assignments the best one can be found for you, Mrs. Simper said. The most important thing you need to join the RSVP is a willing heart. To find more about the program, you can join the North County Satellite. Ph.
