Boxers from Stan's Club in Orem Will Participate in Jr. Olympics boys have a good season in Salt Lake City every Monday night and have also boxed in the Golden Gloves playoff. Bennett Edwards is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Drew Ed-wards and Phillip Grace is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Grace. Five boys, two from Pleas-ant Grove, two from Orem, and one from Springville, will rep-resent Stan's Boxing Club of Orem in the Jr. Olympics at Gooding, Idaho on March 17 and 18 of this year. Bennett Edwards, and Phil-lip Grace are the two boys from Pleasant Grove. Don De St. Jeor and Mike Loveless from Orem, and Dennis Stelson from Springville. During the past year, all the Sign Up Tonight For Explorer Road Rally Staurday A reminder to all young people 14-1- 8 that it is not too late to sign up fo the Explorer road Rally to be held this Saturday is given by Eugene Colledge. All those inteested have one one last chance to sign up which will take plae at the road rally school tonight (Thusday) at 7 p.m. at the Seminary. All interested drivers and na-vigators who have not attended one of the previous sshools must attend. For all interested spectators and participants the rally will begin at 9 a.m. at the high school parking lot this Satur-day, Marh 18. The officers and mem-bers are: Gaylynn Tucker, president; Linda Maxfield, vice president; Heidi Schauers, secretary-treasure- r; Sherri Tolman, report-er; Colleen Williams, songlead-er-; Elizabeth Carter, party chairman; Julene Bezzant, safety chairman, Lesa Gurr, community project and Lori Gurr as telephone chairman. Leaders for the club are San-dra Schauers and Joy Tucker. They will meet the second and third Saturday. Second Ward to Hold Speech Festival Tuesday Everyone is invited to the Second Ward MIA Speech Fes-tival Tuesday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. A variety of talent will be presented including tall tales and short stories, musical ar-rangements, and good competi-tive speeches. For an evening of fine enter-tainment, you are invited to the Second Ward MIA speech festival.
