Show Funeral Rites Held Tuesday Nov. 21 for Musetta E. Hatch Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 11:00 a.m. for Musetta Eaton Hatch, 77, who died Saturday, at the American Am-erican Fork Hospital of natural causes. The services were conducted con-ducted by Kenneth M. Nickell, counselor in the Manila Second Ward bishopric. Speakers at the services were Mary Jacobs and Effie Adams, and Mr. Nickell also gave remarks. Musical numbers were given by Shirley Hatch, who sang "Prayer Perfect" and by Stanford Stan-ford Ekins, who sang "I Walked Walk-ed Today Where Jesus Walked." Walk-ed." They were accompanied by Lucy Haycock who also played prelude and postlude music. Family prayer was given by Roy Rowland, invocation by Clifton Wadley, and benediction benedic-tion by Craig Smith. The grave in the Vernal City Cemetery, was dedicated by Lloyd Eaton. . In brief graveside ceremonies ceremon-ies at the Vernal City Cemetery, Ceme-tery, Remarks were given by Frank Walker. Pallbearers were Tommy King, Michael Hatch, Lloyd and Ezra Eaton, Duane Keetch and Donald Hatch. Honorary pallbearers pall-bearers were Carl Hadlock and Frank Walker. The Manila Second Ward Relief Re-lief Society arranged and cared car-ed for the flowers. Mrs. Hatch was born Aug. 2, 1895 in Vernal, a daughter of Orlando Henson and Harriet Priscilla Richens Eaton. She married Marion Clark Hatch Sept. 18, 1912 in Vernal. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Hatch died Oct. 7, 1972. She was an active member of the LDS Church, especially in Relief Society work. Survivors include one son and one daughter, Leon Hatch, Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Duane Du-ane (Marba) Keetch, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, bro-thers, Fon Eaton and Ezra Eaton, Eat-on, both of Vernal. |
