Show --"Ik ' ' 'J ' . ; j MISS ALANA MARCHBANKS AND RICK OVARD Alana Marchbanks and Rick Ovard Plan Wedding in Salt Lake Temple Mr. and ,Mrs. Alan March-banks March-banks ar announcing the engagement en-gagement and . forthcoming marriage of their daughter Alana to Rick Ovard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ovard of American Fork. The Ovards are former residents of Pleasant Grove. Alana has chosen as her ma-ron ma-ron of honor, Mrs. Patsy Adams, Ad-ams, bridesmaids, Mrs. Christine Chris-tine Duffin, Jolynn Allred, Charlene Hooley, Kellie and Shellie Marchbanks. Two best men were chosen by the groom to be, Rick Gur-ney Gur-ney and Michael Marchbanks. Attending the book will be Kathy Nehring and Mrs. Sandra San-dra Larsen. Alana is a graduate of the four year Seminary program and the Pleasant Grove High School, where she was a member mem-ber of the national honor so ciety, Viqueen Pep Club, FHA, and a varsity cheerleader. She is presently employed in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. Rick graduated from the LDS Seminary and Pleasant Grove High School, also, where he participated in varsity football and wrestling. He was also an FFA member. He is presently attending Utah Trade Technical College in Provo. He has served on active duty at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and is now employed employ-ed in Salt Lake City. After their marriage the couple plan to make their home in Orem. Their marriage will be solemnized sol-emnized in the Salt Lake Temple Tem-ple on Friday, Sept. 8, and a reception will follow in the Lindon Ward Cultural Hall, eight to ten p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. |
