Lewis of Pleasant Grove an-nounce the forthcoming mar-riage of their daughter Delia Rose to Robert T. Robb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elton S. Robb, also of Pleasant Grove. The couple will be united in marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Friday, September the 8th. The bride-elec- t is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and a four-yea- r graduate of Seminary. Delia has attended the BYU for two semesters. The groom is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and is also a four-yea- r grad-uate of Seminary. Robert has served a two-yea- r mission in the New Zealand South Miss-ion. He will be entering the Army in October for three years. Following basic train-ing, the couple will be station-ed at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. A reception will be held that evening at the Manila Ward Cultural Hall from 8 to 10 p.m. All relatives and friends are cordially invited. Attending the bride, as brides-maids, are Connie Smith, Chris Myers, Bonnie Lewis, Mary Woolley and Linda Wiggins. Flower girls are Elizabeth Lew-is, Cary and Amy Robb. David C. Staker Are Married in the Salt Lake Temple The Salt Lake Temple was the setting for the Friday, Aug. 25 wedding of Susan Elizabeth Driggs and Denzil Cordell Sta-ker. A reception was given that night at the home of the bride's mother, and the President's Room at the Wilkinson Center, BYU, was the setting for the wedding breakfast. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth S. Driggs and the late Dr. Howard Wayne Driggs, and had attended the Brigham Young University. The bridegroom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alden B. Staker of Idaho Falls, attended BYU, where he affiliated with Alpha Delta Sigma. At the reception, Mrs. How-ard Wayne Driggs Jr. served as matron of honor with the two sisters of the groom, Mrs. Garth Dustin of Oklahoma City and Miss Julie Staker of Idaho Falls, serving as bridesmaids. Dr. Larry Staker, brother of the groom, from Washington, D.C. and David Jenkins, both served as best men. Mrs. Robert K. Allen and Mrs. Russel B. Swensen of Pro-v- o were in charge of the dining area and Mrs. Greg Summers took care of the gift room. The young couple will make their home in Provo, where both will attend the BYU. --- "Ik ' ' 'J ' . ; j MISS ALANA MARCHBANKS AND RICK OVARD Alana Marchbanks and Rick Ovard Plan Wedding in Salt Lake Temple Mr. and ,Mrs. Alan March-bank- s ar announcing the en-gagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Alana to Rick Ovard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ovard of American Fork. The Ovards are former residents of Pleasant Grove. Alana has chosen as her ma-ro- n of honor, Mrs. Patsy Ad-ams, bridesmaids, Mrs. Chris-tine Duffin, Jolynn Allred, Charlene Hooley, Kellie and Shellie Marchbanks. Two best men were chosen by the groom to be, Rick Gur-ne- y and Michael Marchbanks. Attending the book will be Kathy Nehring and Mrs. San-dra Larsen. Alana is a graduate of the four year Seminary program and the Pleasant Grove High School, where she was a mem-ber of the national honor so ciety, Viqueen Pep Club, FHA, and a varsity cheerleader. She is presently employed in Pleas-ant Grove. Rick graduated from the LDS Seminary and Pleasant Grove High School, also, where he participated in varsity football and wrestling. He was also an FFA member. He is presently attending Utah Trade Technical College in Provo. He has served on active duty at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and is now employ-ed in Salt Lake City. After their marriage the couple plan to make their home in Orem. Their marriage will be sol-emnized in the Salt Lake Tem-ple on Friday, Sept. 8, and a reception will follow in the Lindon Ward Cultural Hall, eight to ten p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to at-tend. BOYER (Roxanna Lock-Smit- Reception Friday Evening Will Honor Young Couple After Recent Marriage Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Lock-Smit- h of Orlando, Florida are announcing the recent mar-riage of their daughter Rox-anna to Stanford J. Boyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Roy Boyer of Pleasant Grove. The couple were married on August 18 in the Salt Lake Temple. A garden reception will be held on Friday, Sept. 1 in their honor at the home of the groom's parents in Pleasant Grove (Manila). Attending the bride will be Lois Boyer, Pam Plotkin, Mi-che- le Stimpson and Carol Az-eltin- e. Serving as best men will be Mark Boyer, Jerry Boyer, and Kent Boyer. The bride graduated from the Brigham Young University this past August, and is currently employed with the Provo School District. Stan graduated from Pleas-ant Grove High School and the LDS Seminary. He served a mission in Sweden and is a senior at Brigham Young Uni-versity. He is employed with All American Realty in Pleas-ant Grove. The couple will be married on Friday, Sept. 8.
