Show Dean Christensen Promoted in Job - In Washington Word has been received by i$ Ertmann H. Christensen, Pleas- ant Grove, that his son, Dean $ E. Christensen, of Richland, 8 Washington, has received a $ promotion to become Senior Scientist I for the Battelle Northwest Laboratories of $ Battelle Memmorial Institute, Richland, Washington. $ Last April, the young Mr. 8 : ; r Christen sen (8 in collabora- w tion with Dr. S E. It was an Atomic En- 8 ergy Commission Research and Si Development Report. j$ Mr. Christensen graduated w from BYU in 1962 with a Mas- S ter s Degree in Art, Langu- S ages and Physics. Following ffi graduation he worked for Gen- S eral Electric in Richland until 8) 1964 when he joined the re- S search staff at "Battele North- west." 8 He served a full term mission 25 for the LDS Church in Denmark S and in the U.S. Army for 2 years in France. 8 He married the former Mar- S gurette Young, also of Pleasant jK Grove, and they have five chil- S dren. He is now doing gradu- ate work toward his Doctor of ffl Philosophy degree. S |
