V. ; SANDRA CULLIMORE Receives honors , Sandra Cullimore Listed in Annual Natl Biography Sandra (Cullimore is one of four young western women to be listed in the annual biographical biog-raphical compilation, "Outstanding "Out-standing Young Women of America." Am-erica." She was nominated by the American Association of University Women, Pleasant Grove Chapter. "Outstanding Young Women of America" is a program designed de-signed to recognize the abilities abil-ities of young women between the ages of 21 and 35 throughout through-out the country. They are honored hon-ored for their outstanding achievements in community service, religious and political activities and professional endeavors. en-deavors. From the young women listed list-ed in the 1969 compilation, 50 will be selected one from each state) as the state's young woman wo-man of the year. Miss Cullimore is a daughter daugh-ter of Cumorah Smith Cullimore Culli-more and the late Vern A. Cullimore. Cul-limore. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1954 and from the BYU with a B.S. degree in Bacteriology and a minor in chemistry. She completed a medical laboratory lab-oratory intership at LDS Hospital, Hos-pital, Salt Lake City, also in 1958 and became a registered medical technologist at the end of her training. Since then she has been employed at both the LDS Hospitals, Salt Lake City and at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. She is now serving as president-elect of the Utah Society of Medical Technologists and will become president in July, 1970. Miss Cullimore is now supervisor super-visor of the Blood Bank at the Utah Valley Hospital, where she has started a school of blood bank technology. |
