Show Water Prospects Above Average Survey Shows According to the April 30 snow and water content survey in the American Fork Canyon watershed area, the water supply sup-ply prospects are well over the average, according to figures released by the Soil Conservation Conserva-tion Service and the National Parks Service. In the statistics, made available avail-able by Thomas A. Walker, supervisor sup-ervisor of Timpanogos Cave National Monument, the first figure is for 1968, the second for 1967 and the third is the all-time all-time average. Depth of Snow Altamount, elevation 7,300 ft. 26.0, 36.7, and 13.4. Timpanogos Divide, elevation 8,140 feet, 59.5, 80.4 and 39.2. Dutchman's Flat, elevation 7,560 feet, 30.3, 42.0 and 19.7. Water Content Altamount 12.5, 15.4 and 17.6. Dutchman's Flat 14.3, 15.4 and 8.5. Precipitation Timpanogos Cave, elevation, 5,500 feet. For the month of April, Ap-ril, 4.37, 4.13 and 2.87. The season to date, 17.16, 20.87, and 16.45. |
