Show Temperature Drop Features Last Week's Weather A cold wind blew into North-em North-em Utah Sunday night. Riding with it came light, sleety rain and a drop in the almost summer-like temperatures, which had smiled on Pleasant Grove for almost a week. Monday morning the official low was 32 degrees and 52 was the highest recorded unofficially unoffic-ially Monday afternoon. The wind reached almost gale velocity in Provo and Orem and was plenty strong in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, although damage reported, locally, was light. Precipitation for the week ending at 6 p.m. Monday was practically nil in Pleasant Grove. The blusters of Sunday and Monday brought in only 0. 02 of an inch of water. However, How-ever, the total since January 1, is approaching 9 inches. Skies were clear early Tuesday Tues-day morning, with the outside temperature at 30 degreees, which was four degrees higher than predicted. The "hard freeze" free-ze" didn't happen. The barometer baro-meter read 30:10 and was rising. ris-ing. Fair and warmer for a few days, was promised by the forecasters.
