farm plews news 1948 sign vp erp now Is tile time tor for farmers to sign up for conservation practices under the 1948 ADA ACA program because of the reduced funds to administer this years program no tarm farm to tarm farm contact will be made prior approval ot of the county committee for all practices la 18 required otherwise no payment can be made even though the practice Is performed in a workmanlike manner to secure this prior approval cooperators must contact the county ACA office at junction or their county committeeman it Is strongly urged that this contact be made prior to starting spring operations it if ACA help is expected in carrying out conservation practices during the coming year the practices tor for which assistance si can be secured under the tha 1948 program are as aa follows clover as green manure drainage ditches reorganization of farm irrigation system land lana leveling erosion control dams spreader dr or diversion ditches terraces or dikes rock and brush danis dams construction of plumes or chutes dams or ponds for livestock water springs or seeps elimination of competitive plants seeding and Re seeding tor for pasture construction of new fences construction of new water storage and weed control
